ZAM: Zombies @ the Movies
While you may think that zombies appearing in movies is something new and made big with Resident Evil and those at the Umbrella Corporation, think again! Shamblin’ Dave here to inform you runners that the first zombie movie ever made was White Zombie starring Bela Lugosi in 1932. So, *crunch* not so new after all. They think they’re sooooo smart. Humph, Not!
❝A young man turns to a witch doctor to lure the woman he loves away from her fiance, but instead turns her into a zombie slave.❞
‘She was not alive … nor dead’
Uh, Dave, what’cha doin’? You know it’s impolite to talk with your mouth full, right? But, Ames let me. *pout* And, this dude didn’t need that arm anyhow. Well, just try not to get any on me at least, ok? Please, continue.
Where was I? Oh right, White Zombie is stored at the Internet Archive, so now anyone can watch *slurp*it for free.
Dave, seriously, if you can’t wait 2 minutes to eat, let me do the talkin’. Fine. I’ll let Shufflin’ Suzie have that one then, geez! What else did ya need me to talk about?? Just let them know what they can look forward to seeing this week, then you can sashay off with Suzie, okay? Thank you.
Sure thing, bi*burp*. I mean, Ms. Stephanie, ma’am. As I was trying to say, before I was so rudely interrupted again, this week we’re focusing on movies and TV. Throughout the week we’ll be chatting about:
- The Godfather, George A. Romero. He’s been our biggest supporter, getting the word out there about us and giving us so many tasty morsels over the years.
- Top grossing movies, along with our Top 5 favorites
- AMC’s badass TV show, ‘The Walking Dead‘
